Re-Opening Kunst- und Forschungsdepot

As part of a „Leistungsvereinbarungsprojekt“, the holdings of Collection and Archive were reorganised in 2026. They consist primarily of paintings, furniture and textile objects. Bringing together art and research, as well as services and administration, the Art and Research Storage demonstrates how collection care, academic work and institutional support can complement and enrich one another.

Our collections are accessible to users worldwide, in accordance with applicable legal requirements. At the same time, the storage facility serves as a space for research and knowledge exchange. It provides students and teaching staff with access to analogue and digital primary sources, offering valuable resources for research and teaching.
